Invisalign is a revolutionary and virtually invisible way to perfect your smile without braces. The system involves a series of clear, BPA-free, removable, plastic aligners that progressively and gently move your teeth into place. Dr. Farjo is a a certified, experienced Invisalign provider who can help you achieve exceptional results.
how invisalign works
step 1
consultation with our doctors
At your complimentary consultation, Dr. Farjo will examine your mouth and let you know if Invisalign will work for your smile. If you’re a good candidate for the treatment, he’ll go over the process, the cost and answer any questions you have.
step 2
make a digital 3d image of your teeth
Now, it’s on to the fun part. We will take pictures of your mouth as well as x-rays and digital impression with our iTero scanner. We’ll input all of this information so that Invisalign can create a digital 3D model of your mouth. Dr. Farjo will specify the exact movements of your teeth using the digital image. You can even see a representation of what your teeth will look like at each stage of treatment.
step 3
get your custom aligners
Invisalign creates custom-molded aligners based on our Doctors treatment plan. They’re made from clear, smooth, BPA-free plastic for a perfect fit. You’ll wear the aligners about 22 hours per day taking them out to eat and brush and floss your teeth.
step 4
wear new aligners every two weeks
You’ll pop in a new set of aligners about every two weeks. As you move through the series, your teeth will shift a little bit closer to their ideal places. You’ll come by the office for occasional check-ups so our Doctors can make sure your treatment is on track.
step 5
reveal your new smile!
When you’re done with your last set of aligners, your treatment is complete and you’ll have a beautiful smile to show for it.
